1 Corinthians 3:6-9 “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.7So then neither is he that planteth anything, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. 8 Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour. 9For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.”

What’s the latest

It is hard to believe that the summer season has come to an end and school will be back in session this week. For Woods Outreach, we have had some new opportunities, various visitors, a special Praise service/potluck by the Lake, and unexpected changes. We welcome the fall season and what God has

for this ministry.

We took the month of August off from Language Classes to give everyone the opportunity to enjoy the last month of summer. We have our website and FB page up and running and are seeing results from these outlets. The Board has been able to meet in person a few times now, which has been great and an opportunity to get to know each other better rather than seeing each other over Zoom! God is leading through the members and all are of “one accord”.

We celebrated the first wedding anniversary of one of our couples and thank the Lord for His faithfulness to them and for many answered prayers during this first year of marriage. With growth also comes sadness - we have seen many of our group members leave due to out-of-state moves, and/or cultural reasons. We are so grateful to the Lord for those who faithfully attend and come with the goal of knowing the Lord more and making Him known to others!

What’s ahead

We recently received word that September will be our final month to be able to meet in our current location in Mishicot (which we have enjoyed and been blessed with during the past 14 months), as the building is in the process of being sold. We are making changes right now to prepare. We have been invited by the Two Rivers library to use one of their rooms for weekly Language classes which will start there on September 11th and run through November 20th as a test to see how well the classes are received in the community. One of our group families has offered to host the Bible studies in their home starting in October. We are also looking into other bi-lingual Bible study groups with which we can connect for further spiritual encouragement as a group. We have a men’s Overnight Fishing trip planned in mid-October; the women will have a fellowship of their own!

What’s your part

Prayer support is the greatest blessing to Woods Outreach. We appreciate all the financial and material donations that we receive, but there is something divinely powerful when God’s people pray! THANK YOU for your part in this ministry! We are so GRATEFUL to the Lord for YOU!
